Professor in Control and Automation Engineering, Electronic Engineering and Computer Engineering courses.
He obtained his BsC in electrical engineering from Universidade Federal de Itajubá in 2002. He obtained his MsC and PhD from Universidade de São Paulo in Electrical Engineering focused on Telecommunications in 2004 and 2008, respectively. He was a visiting scholar in the Nanophotonics Group at Cornell University in 2009, at Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie in 2010 and at IMEC (Belgiun) in 2011. He works in the areas of telecommunication systems, optical communications, photonics, photonic christal fiber optics and silicon photonics.
