Obtained is BsC in Control and Automation Engineering, MsC and PhD in Electrical Engineering at Universidade Federal de Itajubá in 2002, 2004 and 2008, respectivaly. He worked as integrated circuit designer at from 2004 until 2006. He was a visiting scholar in 2011 and 2012 in the Nanolab Integrated Sensors and Circuits Laboratory at Tufts University. He is professor at Universidade Federal de Itajubá since 2007, working in the areas of industrial instrumentation and control, multivariable control and the development of CMOS integrated circuits for the treatent of biomediccal signals.
